What to expect at Siskiyou Mountain Place

Enjoy a well equipped and modern kitchenette.  There are new and durable granite countertops, quiet-close cabinetry, open floating shelves for dishware and glassware, full service appliances such as air fryer, 2-burner hot plate, microwave, toaster, 3-function pod coffee maker, stainless steel sink with built-in drain tray, garbage disposal and 23.8 cubic foot LG refrigerator.  The kitchenette is fully stocked with glassware, plates/bowls, utensils, cutlery and pots and pans.  There is bright lighting over the sink and counters, and the dimmable pendant lights over a seven-foot peninsula countertop are great for food prep and games!   4 bar stools and the open layout allow for easy visiting, TV watching or eating at the counter. 

The big main room features brand new Signature Design By Ashley furniture, including a couch, two easy chairs and two ottomans.  You will also find a 50" 4K flat screen smart TV, and a spectacular view north toward Emigrant Lake and Grizzly Peak.  The main room also includes the dining area which seats 6, and also a 7' peninsula countertop which seats 4 more, ideal for food preparation, games or watching TV together!  Quite a few classic and new board games are available, as well as cards and new-in-the-box puzzles.  You may also enjoy the  100-book fiction/non-fiction library, and if you haven't finished the book by the end of your stay, take it with you!!!

Relax and "count your blessings instead of sheep*" on one of our brand new Serta PerfectSleeper king or queen beds.  The cozy east bedroom features a king bed, nightstands with 3-way lamps, 32" smart TV, and an armoire for your clothes.  The spacious west bedroom has two queen beds, nightstand and lamps, a clothing shelf with hangers, 40" smart TV, and a sitting area with 2 chairs and small table.  All beds in both bedrooms have  comfortable new sheets, blankets and comforters, are protected and kept sanitized by bed and pillow protectors, and rest on solid-wood upholstered foundations. 

For sleeping 7 or 8 guests, a portable Simmons memory foam twin bed with cozy bedding, or low-to-the-ground toddler bed are also available.

The dining area is just steps away from the main room and kitchenette, allowing easy visiting with anyone relaxing on the furniture or busy at the counter, while providing a great view of the 50" smart TV if desired.  The dining table seats 6 comfortably in padded chairs and a bench.  An overhead chandelier provides just the right lighting for your meals and relaxation.   Combining the 4 kitchenette bar stools with the comfy couch and easy chairs, there is seating for 15 in the main room.  Additional folding chairs are available on request.

Whether freshening up to attend an event or relaxing under the invigorating shower rainhead, this bathroom is a delight.  The tile shower, enclosed by a beautifully crafted Illume glass door, features a convenient built-in seat and complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner in 4 built-in cubbies.  For your safety, there is also a strong grab bar and anti-slip pebble tile floor. 2 individual faucets, vessel sinks and barn door-style mirrors allow more than one person at the vanity.   A side table provides space for a hair dryer, razor and other toiletries.

A 180 degree view awaits you on this solid-cedar deck, with its Alpine-look pine/fir posts and secure hand-built railings.  Enjoy relaxing on the deck furniture or use the available macrame swing stored indoors, and take in the incredible view north toward Emigrant Lake and Grizzly Peak.  Read, doze or watch resident deer, squirrels, birds or get a glimpse of Beatrix the jackrabbit or Bob the bobcat.  Moon and stargaze with a Simmons telescope.  The deck features a 23' ADA ramp and custom curved cedar steps  to the guest parking area.  Overhead, a modern deck ceiling protects you from raindrops.
